The Municipal Tourism Direction offers during the summer vacation season tours to the most interesting places of the city of Puebla, during the day and night.
 
Tour: ANGELS TRAIL

Description:

The Angels Trail, carried out with the support of the Amparo’s Foundation, takes as base the axis of 2 Sur. On it there are monuments as important as “La Casa del que mató al animal” (The house of who killed the animal) with one of the few facades that are preserved in Puebla and carried out in the XVIth century, the building of the first hospital of the city, nowadays changed to the Museo Amparo and one of the churches that still safeguards baroque altarpieces of a great artistic quality.
The name of this path is in honor of the memory of Angeles Espinosa Yglesias, a great pioneer of the art and culture in Puebla Capital.

Description:

The monuments on this trai allow ti find spaces for art and culture of Puebla Capital, as places for the sale of traditional handicrafts, the Regional Museum of the State, located in the "Casa de Alfeñique," one of the most beautiful colonial homes of the city or the Teatro Principal, considered the oldest operating theater in Latin America. On this Trail is located the "Monumento a la Mujer" as a permanent tribute to the effort and work of women of Puebla.

Description:

Its name commemorates one of the most important dates of the history of Mexico: The beginning of the Independence. This street and the 5 de Mayo Street are one of the basic axis from which the blocks of the ancient city of Puebla were laid out.

Description:

Along this Trail there are some of the most relevant religious monuments in the catholic faith of Puebla's people, like the “Capilla del Rosario” (Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary) considered as the finest example of Puebla's Baroque Architecture of the XVII century, and the church of the former convent of St. Monica, in which the «Señor de las Maravillas» is exhibited; this religious sculpture is the most venerated in Puebla and it is taken out for street procession every Good Friday. This procession convenes more than 70 000 people who take the streets of the Historic Centre making it the largest religious procession in Latin America.

Description:

The Revolution Trail begins with the historical landmark, the Serdan Home, where on November the 18th, 1910, the Mexican Revolution initiated. This tour allows you to experience colonial architecture, baroque churches and includes traditional candy stores that offer sweet confections made here in Puebla.

Description:

The knowledge trail is formed by the avenidas Reforma and Juan de Palafox y Mendoza, being one of the main axis of the old city.
On this Trail are civil and religious historical buildings, which shows the rich architecture of Puebla, a mixture of styles and forms in more than four centuries of history.
